PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project focused on establishing the style and layout direction for a large Edwardian home owned by a single client with an extensive collection of books and magazines.
The brief was to celebrate the client’s love of colour while creating considered display solutions, ensuring that his collections became an integrated part of the interior rather than overwhelming the space.
HOW WE HELPED
Our role included:
• Establishing a clear style and design direction that reflected the client’s personality and love of colour
• Reviewing and refining the furniture layout to improve flow and maximise the use of space
• Designing bespoke display solutions for books and magazines
• Integrating existing furniture, lighting and artwork into a cohesive overall scheme
• Producing detailed drawings and schedules to support on-site trades
THE RESULT
The completed ground floor now has a clear and coherent design language throughout. The client’s book and magazine collections are thoughtfully displayed within dedicated areas, allowing them to enhance the interior rather than dominate it. The home feels warm, welcoming and reflective of the client’s personality.
