Style and Concept Design
Style and Concept Design is where the scene is set for the visual look and feel of the home.
How would you like your home to feel? Is it warm and rustic, light and contemporary, colourful and bold or something else entirely.
We will take you through various style boards where you can tell us what you do or don’t like. By the end of this process, we will have nailed down your individual style and created a style board, or series of style boards
depending on the size of your project, that your Concept Design will be based on.
Giving some time to really talking through style at the beginning of the process helps us to help you create a beautiful home that has a harmonious flow of colour and style throughout. It’s the foundation block that everything else is built on.
The next step is to take the style boards and develop them into a Concept
Design. This will encompass your style while being relevant to the space or
spaces we are working with. Concept Design can cover individual rooms, a series of rooms or a whole house.
The result of the Concept Design is that we will have identified your home aesthetic along with a palette of colours and material and product finishes.
This will bring harmony and continuity to your home as well as vastly simplifying the process when it comes to choosing all types of products like floors, doors, wall coverings, furniture, furnishings and accessories, not to mention larger decisions like kitchens and bathrooms.
This then neatly leads into the Detail Design process.

A finalised individual Stye Board and a finalised visual Concept demonstrating the flow of style and design throughout the home including general finishes, styles of lighting, furniture and accessories and a colour palette.
