From the very first contact with Jo, I felt at ease with my project. I have used and worked with designers both in the UK and in Europe and have often found them to be quite one dimensional, by that I mean they have a formula and then seek to fit you/your project within that. From our very first video call Jo was willing to explore new ways of working, collaborating with my existing supplier network (as well as introducing some of her own) and has made the whole process EASY. Jo, has a framework within which she operates but seeks to amend it to suit your needs, she challenged our thinking and really made us focus on what we wanted out of the project. Jo's common sense approach to problem solving has ensured that the project sets off with clear direction, a set of fully documented plans (with commentary) and an agreed timeframe and budget. It's been such a joy working Jo. From the initial discussions about overall style, to creating and talking through mood boards, and then detailed design, it's been a relief to know that we're getting such expert guidance - but that it's still our design. Jo is great at listening to what we want and finding a way to incorporate that into the design in a way that is so much better than we could have achieved by ourselves. By creating detailed packs for our contractors, there's also far less chance of things going wrong or getting missed on site - one of the key challenges in any project! Where do I start. Jo has been amazing from the very start of the project. She has managed to take a lot of pressure off us by steering us through all the design options. The design packs that she puts together for each element of the build - Tiling, joinery, decor, etc have been so useful to us, but especially the various trades.
