It's been such a joy working Jo. From the initial discussions about overall style, to creating and talking through mood boards, and then detailed design, it's been a relief to know that we're getting such expert guidance - but that it's still our design. Jo is great at listening to what we want and finding a way to incorporate that into the design in a way that is so much better than we could have achieved by ourselves. By creating detailed packs for our contractors, there's also far less chance of things going wrong or getting missed on site - one of the key challenges in any project! Where do I start. Jo has been amazing from the very start of the project. She has managed to take a lot of pressure off us by steering us through all the design options. The design packs that she puts together for each element of the build - Tiling, joinery, decor, etc have been so useful to us, but especially the various trades. This was our second time working with Jo. A couple of years ago she worked with us on a holiday cottage that we wanted to refurbish. When we bought our new home earlier in 2024, we got straight back in touch with her. Jo spent lots of time with us, patiently help us work out exactly the style we wanted for the house so that it would really feel like our home with our own stamp on it. She was also great at introducing new ideas to fit the style but in ways we would never have imagined! Jo was also great working with all the trades from decorators, tillers, plumbers to the electricians; indeed they all commented on how they loved getting her packs which gave them all the drawings, dimensions and loads of other information so they knew exactly what they were doing. We are so pleased with the end result, it is absolutely fantastic and really feels like a special home. Jo is a real professional, personable and a pleasure to work with. Jo has really transformed our house into a beautiful home. She has managed to guide us from a ‘safe, neutral paint colour choice’ to being bolder and prepared to take risks with colour choice style and design. Jo was recommended to us when we had a house fire, which although was terrible gave us the opportunity to remodel and completely redesign the interior. Jo has helped re configure the room layout, storage, lighting, soft furnishings and so much more. She has supported the builders throughout the project with very detailed packs to ensure the build has gone smoothly. Our home now flows beautifully and reflects our personalities.
